Monday, Huskies finish second on the links

Mifflin County golf competed today at Mechanicsburg’s home course of Range End Golf Club. Mifflin county finished 2nd on the day with a team total of 341. Leading Mifflin County on the day was Owen Wise who shot a score of 1 over par 72. Alex Kline shot 84, Tanner Ferguson shot 92, and Blake Stringfellow rounded out the scoring with a 93. MC went 5-1 on the day and now stands at 41-5 overall on the season, and finishes Mid Penn play at 38-4, which was good enough for 2nd place overall in the Keystone division. Today’s match was the end of the regular season. Mifflin County is back in action on thursday 9/23 at District 6 sectional tournament, where the team will have a shot to qualify for the District 6 champoionships. The season win total of 41 victories, is a new school record for Mifflin County golf.
