Mounties open week with win over Huntingdon

Philipsburg -Osceola Mounties took home a 7-2 victory over Huntingdon on Monday.
The Mounties got on the board in the first inning. PO scored one run when Colby Hahn singled.
Philipsburg-Osceola pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Hahn grounded out, scoring two runs.
The Mounties scored three runs in the fourth inning.
Nick Coudriet pitched Philipsburg-Osceola to victory. Coudrietsurrendered two runs on two hits over five innings, striking out three. Denny Prestash threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Ashton Steele took the loss for Huntingdon. The hurler surrendered six runs on eight hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six.The Mounties had 10 hits in the game. Ben Gustkey, Parker White, and Jake DeSimone each racked up multiple hits for Mounties. Gustkey led Mounties with three hits in four at bats.
