Pair of Lock Haven Women’s Wrestlers named NWCA/NCAA Scholar All-Americans

 

NWCA announces NCAA Women’s Wrestling Scholar All-Americans; Lock Haven’s Shufeldt and Stem honored

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven women’s wrestling standouts Kaelani Shufeldt (Huntington Beach, Calif./Marina) and Grace Stem (Snow Shoe, Pa./Bald Eagle) have both been named 2023-24 NCAA Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), as the two led the way for the Bald Eagles on the mats and in the classroom.

Most recently, both Shufeldt and Stem closed remarkable seasons with All-American performances as the 2024 NCWWC National Championship event.

Shufeldt finished as a national runner-up at 109 pounds, earning All-American status for the second straight season.

Stem became a two-time All-American after placing fourth overall at 136.

The two helped Lock Haven place seventh at the national championship, the highest team finish in school history.
