Penns Valley boys fall to Tyrone

It was a tough outing for the Penns Valley boys basketball team Thursday night as they fell to Mountain League foe Tyrone 62-50.

Zach Braught led the Rams offensively, posting a 23-point performance.

Tyrone finished with two players in double figures, they were Landon DeHaas with 23 and Keegan Gwinn with 11.

Penns Valley started out strong, taking a 16-11 lead. Braught scored seven in the period.

The Rams added to its lead at the intermission, outscoring Tyrone 10-6 to up their lead to 26-18 advantage.

Unfortunately for the Rams, the Tyrone offense was able to explode for 41-28 in the second half to spoil the Penns Valley’s chances at the victory.
