Penns Valley’s Butler sets school record; PV Downs Central

The Penns Valley Lady Rams volleyball team defeated Central Martinsburg 25-16, 25-21, 25-16 (3-0). Their team leaders were:

Hailey Coursen with 16 assists
Grace Bressler with 8 kills and Anna Butler, Cammie Upcraft, and Kailen Winkelblech with 6 kills apiece
Jadyn Butler with 6 digs
Cammie Upcraft with 4 blocks
Anna Butler and Hailey Coursen with 2 aces apiece
The win improves the Lady Rams’ record to 5-3 on the season.  They finished the first half of their Mountain League schedule with a 5-2 conference record.
In Tuesday night‘s match against Bellefonte, Jadyn Butler recorded her 602nd career dig, becoming the school’s all-time leader in the category.  As a Junior, she still has a season and a half to add to this new record.
