State College boys soccer team adds to its legacy, wins D6 title

WINGATE – Adding to their legacy!

Monday evening, the State College boys soccer team put a large exclamation point to this years’s season, topping Central Mountain in District 6 championship action.

Not only did the Little Lions pick up the win but they made it a convincing one, 8-0.

Picking up the first goal on the evening was Sam Cheslock just minutes into the contest.

Less than five minutes later, the Little Lions were back at it, upping the score thanks to a Will Kogelmann goal, adding an early goal of his own.

State College continued to roll as they put an early insurance goal on the board just a few minutes later, with a strike from Drew Kogelmann!

They weren’t done yet. Will Kogelmann made it a 4-0 contest as he blasted his second goal of the the contest. State has struck for a third goal in three minutes.

From there the score continued to grow and when the final buzzer sounded, State College was once again holding up the District 6 trophy and celebrating their 8-0 victory.
