State College wins 5-4 contest versus Red Land

The State College Little Lions were triumphant over Red Land 5-4 on Wednesday.
Red Land got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Colden Warren grounded out, and Chandler Schmoyer singled, each scoring one run.
The Little Lions flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs on four hits to take a 5-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Logan Shannon that drove in two.
Samuel Janik earned the win for State College. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking two.
Warren took the loss for Red Land. The starting pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking five.
