Still perfect after “sweet 16”; EJ girls roll to 7-0 win over Line Mountain

The scoring machine which is the the East Juniata Girls soccer team continues its domination of their competition defeated Line Mountain 7-0 Wednesday.

Thea Neimond and teammate Kierstyn Fogle led the Tigers’ offense with two goals each.

Getting the East Juniata scoring started was Leah Sankey posting an unassisted goal at 6:54.

Amara Brubaker continued the scoring on an unassisted goal of her own at 9:39.

Neimond hit her first goal via an unassisted goal 28:14.

Cypress Feltman put her name in the scorebooks with an unassisted goal at 38:48.

Neimond hit her final goal of the game at 43:36.

Kierstyn Fogle posted the next two goals, one unassisted at 51:35 and the other at 71:00.

Shots on goal was 19 for the Lady Tigers while they also posted five corners.

East Juniata goalie Brianna Henry tallied five saves on the day

EJ’s Overall record is 16-0-0 and it’s TVL League record is 11-0.

 Next game- Monday, October 10th, 2019against Halifax.
