Bald Eagle Area girls fall to tough Tyrone team

Monday night, the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team ran into a tough Tyrone team, falling 2-0.

Tyrone led in shots on goal by a 13-9 margin while the two both finished with two corner opportunities.

BEA goalie Mackenzie Vozniak finished with five while teammate Angie Grieb finished with six.

Tyrone goalie Ryann Walls finished with nine.

Tyrone scored its first goal on a Chloe LaRosa Penalty kick at 22:17, Tyrone added an insurance goal by L. Quick at 63:50.

“We had some trouble tonight getting the ball into the net. We did well in possession, but couldn’t cash in on our chances tonight,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Tryone is a good team played us hard.”

BEA Record is 10-5-1 overall and 7-5-1 in the Mountain League.
