Bald Eagle girls even record: blanks PO

PHILIPSBURG – The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team evened its record to 1-1 on the year as they blanked Philipsburg-Osceola Thursday 4-0 in a Mountain League match up.
Bald Eagle led on shots on goal by a 20-2 margin while also leading in corner by a 14-2 margin.
BEA goalie Charlee Harris collected two saves while PO goalkeeper Jocelyn Hutton was the workhorse with 16.
Addison Proctor at the 8:00-mark scored first to give her team the lead.
Morgan Chambers put the Eagles up 2-0 finding the back of the net at 31:47
Georgia Cingle with an assist from Allison Cowan got on the scoreboard at 57:45.
Rounding out the contest Mara Hockenberry finished the scoring at the 67:44 mark for the 4-0 victory.
“The girls moved the ball around very well today. They controlled the game and created many scoring opportunities. It was a full team effort and I am very proud of them,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore.
The Bald Eagles will be back in action on September 12th as it hosts Central.
