Bald Eagle matmen fall to Clearfield

The Bald Eagle wrestling team and Clearfield squad found themselves in quite a Mountain League contest Tuesday.
However, in the end Clearfield Area took the contest 32.0-22.0.
The Eagles started out with a win at 106. Gavin Guenot pinned Xavier Lutz at 0:53.
113-pounder Lucas Fye won by major decision over Evan Davis 10-0.
Bald Eagle was victorious at 126 when Coen Bainey muscled his way to a 9-8 victory over Brady Collins.
138-pounder Jeffre Pifer gave the Eagles another victory as he pinned Ty Aveni at 1:19.
Rounding out the Bald Eagle wins was 189-pounded Caleb Close when he won over Carter Chamberlain 6-4.
