Bellefonte girls fall to State ranked Hollidaysburg

The Bellefonte girls basketball team fell to a up-tempo Hollidaysburg Tuesday 73-24.

Leading scorer for Hollidaysburg was Marin Miller with 26 while teammate Alison Hatajik finished with 13.

Bellefonte leading scorers on the night were Angelina Aviles and

Keira Whitman both with four.

“Playing the 10th ranked team in the state is a very tall task. The team battled throughout and was able to have some success after a very difficult first quarter. Holidaysburg is a very well coached team and we knew we were walking into a

buzzsaw,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer.
