Baney one-hits Penn’s Valley

Despite the cold and nasty weather, Bellefonte pitcher Tara Baney looked strong by pitching a shut out and allowing just one hit and struck out seven en route to the 3-0 victory over Penn’s Valley Thursday night at home.
Rianna Traxler led the offense smacking two hits for the Red Raiders in the victory.
Bellefonte picked up a run in the even numbered innings plating a run in the second, fourth and sixth inning.
The Lady Raider defense was its solid self, helping Barney pick up her one-hit shut out.
