Bellefonte continued winning streak, takes care of the Bearcats

Triston Heckman was an RBI machine on Thursday, driving in five on three hits to lead Bellefonte Red Raiders past Huntingdon 13-2 on Thursday. Heckman drove in runs on a single in the third and a grand slam in the fourth.

Bellefonte got on the board in the first inning when Alexander Ebeling grounded out, scoring one run.

The Red Raiders pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Heckman singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Bellefonte  put up six runs in the fourth inning. The Red Raider’s big bats in the inning were led by home runs by Heckman and Josh Brown.

Derek Fravel was the winning pitcher for Bellefonte.

Fravel allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five. Ebelingthrew three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Josh Bryson took the loss for Huntingdon. Brysonwent three and a third innings, allowing ten runs on six hits and striking out two.

The Red Raiders tallied two home runs on the day. Brown had a long ball in the fourth inning. Heckman put one out in the fourth inning.

Bellefonte tallied ten hits on the day. Heckman and Brown each racked up multiple hits for the Red Raiders. Heckman led the Bellefonte squad with three hits in four at bats.
