BG’s Cubbison finishes in the top 10 in Michigan

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Track and Field team wrapped up three days of competition (Apr. 25- Apr. 27) splitting between Allendale, Michigan and Louisville, Kentucky.

The Falcons started the three day stretch in Allendale, Michigan competing in the GVSU Extra Weekend. Kylee Cubbison (6) and Katerina Shuble (7) participated in the 1500m run, placing in the top 10. On the men’s side Anthony Sweet placed fourth in the 5000m run.

Friday and Saturday BG participated in the Clark Wood Invitational, posting a handful of personal best. Full results can be found below, top finishers came from Tianna Mulliganin the 400m  placing fourth (54.93), Kailee Perry in the 1500m placing fifth (4:31.49). The 4×100 relay team finished in fourth compiling of Morgan Patterson, Alexsia Parchman, Kiera Bonds, Darian Braddix  (45.81). In the 4×400 the Falcons finished second (Ashley Kisor, DaMya Barker, Darian Braddix, Tianna Mulligan).

Morgan Patterson finished ninth overall in the 100m hurdles, in the 400m hurdles DaMya Barker finished sixth. Bianca Staples placed second in the triple jump with a 41’7.25″ mark  while in the long jump invitational Morgan Patterson placed fifth with a 19’6″ mark. Lane Andersonplaced fifth in the shot put with a 44′ 7.5″ finish and Reagan Embertonplaced third in discus at 147′ 10″.
