Crown him the Champ! Book adds another chapter to distinguished Hurdle career

What a summer for the Tigers track and field team and hurdling stand out Josef Book.

Congratulations to East Juniata’s Book as he captured the PIAA State Gold Medal in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.34.

He notched a bronze medal in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.21.

He adds on to a long distinguished list of taking top honors in the D4 championships and the Tri-Valley Athletic Association’s top finisher in both hurdles events there as well.

He added his name to the list of distinguished athletes that have been a staple of the school’s wall of fame.
