East Juniata outlasts Juniata in rivalry game

A rivalry renewed.

The Juniata girls soccer team met up with Juniata County rival East Juniata Tuesday night and the two added another chapter to its intense rivalry.

In the end, the tigers came out victorious in a 1-0 double overtime victory.

Jazlynn Sheaffer notched the goal late to give her team the victory.

Both teams had seven shots on goal.

Juniata goalie Hailey Kepner finished with 10 saves.
