East Juniata win one, lose one in 2-day span

In Wednesday action, the East Juniata girls softball team topped Halifax 16-1 in an abbreviated contest.

The Lady Tigers’ Marley Wilson notched the win facing 14 batters, allowing just three hits, with five strike outs and two walks.

Posting 10 runs in the first inning, the East Juniata bats were jumping.

Leading the offense were Annika Martin ( 2for-2, 2-1B, a walk, HP, 1RBI, 4 runs, SB, Wilson 1-for-3, 1B, 2BB, 1RBI, 3 runs), Ryley Dressler 3-for- 3, 3-1B, walk, 3 runs), Brenna Watts (2-for-4, 2-1B, 4RBI), Macy Buskey 3-for-3, 2-1B, 2B, 2RBI, walk, run), Maddie Snyder (1-for-3, 1B, run, 1RBI), Emma willow (RBI, walk),Abby Warner (RBI) and Grace Hibbs 1-for-3), walk, 3 runs, RBI).

Thursday results

Susquenita 8, East Juniata 1

It was a tough loss for the Lady Tigers Thursday as they fell to Squsquenita 8-1 in Tri-Valley action.
