EJ girls’ defense holds off Halifax in victory

Defense took center stage Monday in the East Juniata/Halifax contest.

In the end, thanks to a 15-point effort by Grace Hibbs and a 12-point follow up by teammate by Cadee Becker lifted the Tigers to a 31-25 victory.

The defense held Halifax to 10-point second half and a 15-point first half to secure the victory.
