EJ girls stay undefeated in TVL action

Here are the stats of our game from tonight (9-18-17) against Millersburg.

The East Juniata Girls Soccer team had a strong night against Millersburg, winning 8-0.
East Juniata got goals from Carly Beaver- assisted by Eleana Benner at the 10-minute mark.
Thea Neimond picked up the game’s second goal assisted by a pass from Eleana Benner.
Hailey Swartz scored the team’s third goal on unassisted shot at the net.
Paige Crissman’s unassisted goal at 52:29, put her team up 4-0.
Hailey Swartz picked up goal number two of the night on an unassisted goal at 59:15
Odessa Groniger and Leah Sankey rounded out the scoring.
EJ tallied 28 shots on goals.
Goalie Lily Sankey stopped one.
The Tigers tallied five corner kicks
With the win, the Tigers upped their overall record to 5-1 while staying undefeated in the TVL with a League record of 3-0.

“We couldn’t put away our chances in the first half. The girls came out second half ready to play and win. It’s great to see the passion the girls had to do well,” said EJ coach Valeria Dressler.
