Good day for Penns Valley girls

Girls Volleyball

 

BELLEFONTE – The Penns Valley girls volleyball team made it a clean sweep of the Bellefonte Tuesday evening, winning 3-0.

On the night, the Rams won  25-19, 25-17 and 27-25.

Girls Cross country

Today the Penns Valley Girls Cross Country team ran in Philipsburg against Philipsburg-Osceola and St Joseph’s Academy of State College.

 

The Lady Rams defeated PO by a score of 16-45 and defeated St Joseph’s by a score of 21-38.

 

The top 10 finishers were as follows:

3rd     Malarie Yoder (PV)             21:19

4th     Rebecca Bierly (PV)           21:28

5th     Mackenzie Wenrick (PV)    21:52

7th     Maggie Urban (SJ)             23:03

8th     Kylie Whitehead (PO)         23:23

9th     Haley Brown (PV)              23:55

10th   Mandy Schmidt (PO)         24:25

15th    Abby DuVall (PV)             26:43

 

Next meet for the PV girls is Saturday, Sept. 13th at the Forest Hills Invitational.
