Hollidaysburg tops Lady Red Raiders in Friday night contest

BELLEFONTE – It was a tough night for the Bellefonte girls basketball team Friday as they fell to Mountain League foe Hollidaysburg 63-14.
Bellefonte was led in scoring was Emalee Neff with five.
Hollidaysburg was led in scoring by
Marin Miller with 22 and Sydney Lear with 19.
“We fought hard against an excellent team. We set mini goals for this game and we accomplished many of them. Our focus was in improve our previous performance and I am happy with the effort tonight,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer. “We broke the press, took good shots and played hard defense. We are continuing to make positive progress.”
It was also our Military Appreciation Night where the Raiders donated $750 to the Centre County Veterans Association.
