Jr. High Red Raiders top Clearfield

The Lady Raider Jr. High Girls Soccer team defeated Clearfield Wednesday evening.

Madison Steiner Scored the first goal of the game when she drove a rebound from the goalie into the back of the net.

Mallorie Smith scored her first goal of the season off a pass from Leigha Schrader.

Late in the first half, Addyson Manning found herself unmarked and in good position when the ball got away from the defense and she rocketed it into the goal.

Early in the second half, Kelsey Bowersox made a fantastic save but Clearfield followed the shot and made the score 3-1.

The Lady Raiders came charging back and Mallorie Smith found Sarah Tobin who did a victory dance after her first goal of the season.

A few minutes later, Mallorie dribbled through the entire defense and put away her second goal of the game.

A late goal on a direct kick made the final score 5-2.

Bellefonte is now 1-2 on the season and next plays Cental Mountain on Monday.
