Juniata battled Huntingdon in track action

Friday the Juniata track and field team battled Huntingdon.

In boys action, the Indians lost to Huntingdon 82-68 and the girls fall 117-33.

“Although we lost , we had another great night filled with lots of personal bests and top three finishes!” said Juniata coach Maisie Aumiller.

On the boys side , Wyatt Ehrenzeller won the javelin with a throw of 139’. Heath Hutchinson took first in both the 110-and-300 meter hurdles . Ricky Guante 2nd in the 400-meter run. Tayden Miller won the pole vault and the high jump and took 3rd in the long jump. Caden Swailes 2nd in the high jump and Christian Chavez 2nd in the pole vault.

Wyatt Stroup took 1st in the 800-meter run and 2nd in both the 1600-meter run and 3200. Joey Bomberger took 1st in the 3200. Mason Beward 3rd in the 800.

On the girls side , Kailey Smith finished 3rd in the 100m and 200m. Emerson Freed won the 300 hurdles. Ava Stoner 3rd in the pole vault. Grace Wagner won the javelin. Sylvia Brubaker broke another school record in the 1600 tonight with a time of 5:27.25 and also won the 800 and 3200. Jessie Bomberger took 2nd in the 3200.
