Juniata matmen falls to tough Newport squad

Wednesday, the Juniata wrestling team lost a tough contest to Newport, falling 42- 26.

Picking up wins for the Indians were

At 127, Coy Kerstetter pinned Peyton Hertzler at 1:31.

160-pounder Charlie Telfer pinned Evan Rice at 5:00.

The wins continued for the Indians at 189. Harrison Mummah outlasted  Kaj Miller by a decision 10-5.

At 215, Kelton Bonnell won by pin over Trey Troutman at 1:05.

Rounding out things for Juniata at 285 was Lane Peiper winning by DQ over Dylan Vadasz.
