Juniata track and field athletes are heading to Shippensburg

ALTOONA – Juniata had another successful day at districts . Jasper Shepps made it to states in both hurdles placing second in the 110 and taking gold in the 300 hurdles ! Sylvia Brubaker took the gold in the 3200 and teammates Wyatt Stroup 2nd and Joey Bomberger 3rd in the 3200 also heading to states. Grace Wagner had a personal best in pole vault jumping 8’3 taking 8th place . “ I am so pleased with how our entire team competed the past two days,” said Juniata coach Maisie Aumiller. “For how small we are , our athletes really shined . Next up , Shippensburg !”
