Juniata’s offense proves to be potent against Jersey Shore

Jersey was a scorers paradise for the Juniata boys high school soccer team Saturday as the Indians dominated Jersey Shore 7-1.

Dan Lopez and Anthony Portzline led the offensive charge for Juniata posting two goal each.

Lopez led off the first half scoring  with a goal at 16:29  thanks to an assist from Anderson Portzline.

In the Second Half, at 35:30 Juniata made another goal. This time Anthony Maradiaga scored on an assist by Lopez.

Winding down to 23:28 the Indians’ Ricky Guante scored by an assist by Arthur Hazard.

Lopez got the call once again at 21:23 thanks to a pass from by Ricky Guante.

Rounding out things at 4:31, Juniata’s Calvin Decker put things to rest as he scored off an assist by Cooper Adamirer.

Juniata out shot Jersey Shore 19-1 and in corner kicks by a 7-2 margin.
