Lady Eagles drop Hollidaysburg, evens record to 1-1
The Bald Eagle Area’s softball team rebounded strongly from its loss last Friday with a strong pitching performance by Sierra Albright for the 5-1 victory over Hollidaysburg.
Albright lit it up from the pitching circle finishing with 11 strikeouts, allowing only three hits and gave up only one walk.
Offensively, the Lady Eagles were led by Alyssa King who highlighted her night at the plate with 2-run home run early in the contest. She finished with three RBI en route to a 1-for-3 night.
Teammate Alexa Baney, finished as the lone multi hitter for the Lady Eagles with two hits and an RBI.
Bald Eagle will be back in action Thursday as they host Huntingdon.
