HERSHEY – MIfflin County improved its record to 11-3 on the year after its solid performance against a feisty Milton Hershey team in girls basketball action.

Gingrich led the way with a game-high 22 points.

When the game went into the intermission, the Huskies led 36-9.

Milton Hershey came out strong in the second half, hitting a quick five points but the Huskies were able to overcome that with some strong shooting once again by Bodtorf with nine and Gingrich also netting nine in the abbreviated period.

With the “Mercy Rule” portion of the game in full force, the Huskies went to its bench late in the final period outshot 8-4 by the Spartans.
