Lady Raiders blast their way back to their winning ways
Back on track.
The Bellefonte softball rebounded from a loss to Central with two giant wins Saturday afternoon at the O’Leary tournament.
In game 1, the Lady Raiders exploded for a 16-2 victory over West Branch.
Bellefonte pounded out 17 hits while winning pitcher Lexi Rogers limited West Branch to only four hits.
Rogers went five innings allowing four hits, two run and seven strikeouts.
In Game 2, West Branch defeated Somerset 10-2.
Finally in the final game of the evening, Bellefonte sizzled on offense, plating 23 runs on 20 hits while Somerset notched nine runs on 14-hits.
Emily Pugh went six innings allowing 14 hits, nine runs which seven were earned along with two strikeouts and four walks.
