Lady Tigers best Greenwood

Final Score: EJ 13, Greenwood 7

 MILLERSTOWN- The East Juniata Lady Tigers had its bats going full tilt Tuesday night as they defeated Greenwood 13-6.

 East Juniata was led by the 4-for-4 performance by Carlee Barrick.

Alyssa Robinson also had a perfect night at the plate, going 3-for-3.

Teammate Hailey Long rounded out the multiple hitters with a 2-for-3 performance.

Others picking up hits were Tiana Terry (1-for-3), Alexis Stuck (1-for-5), Aaliyah Lightner (1-for-4), Kenzie Hicks (1-for-4) and Emersyn Mader (1-for-4).

Winning Pitcher on the night was Carlee Barrick.

Barrick tallied seven strike outs and five walks.

 Terry roped a home run while Barrick and Hicks both tripled.

East Juniata picked up RBIs from Barrick (4), Hicks (3), Terry (2), Stuck and Robinson.

“I’m extremely impressed with our offensive game tonight. We were able to make hits throughout the entire line-up tonight which was a big improvement from previous games,” said coach Lauren Maguire. “Carlee and Alyssa led the team offensively both batting 1,000.  Defensively, Tiana Terry made 8 outs to carry the defense.”

East Juniata jumped out to a 3-0 lead and continued to build throughout.

The Lady Tigers added one in the second and two in the third. In the fourth, they plated five run en route to the victory.
