Lady Tigers explode for 51-18 win over Forbes Road

East Juniata’s offense scored early and often Tuesday as the Lady Tigers outmuscled Forbes Road 51-18 Tuesday night.

Leading the way for East Juniata was Clayre Guyer with 15 points.

Also finishing in double figures was Alyssa Robinson with 10.

The Tigers held Forbes Road to nine points while its offense opened with a 14-point first quarter.

Defensively, East Juniata completely shut down the Forbes Road’s offense refusing to let them score. 

Its offense rolled to score nine.

At the half, the Lady Tigers led 23-9.

In the third, Forbes only managed four points while East Juniata pounded out 19.

The final stanza proved to be more of the same as East Juniata outscored Forbes 8-5, taking the 51-18 victory.
