Late Saturday results: Bellefonte track sweeps Brookville

BELLEFONTE- It was a senior day delight!

Saturday, the Bellefonte track and field team opened its season honoring its seniors.

In the process they finished with a sweep of Brookville.

In girls action, the Red Raiders won in dominating fashion 92-49. The boys found themselves winning a nail biter 72-69.

Picking up wins for the boys were Ethan Wilson (400-meter dash), Keith Eicholtz (800-meter run), Alexander Crist (3200-meter run), Sherman Lowry (110-meter hurdles), Boys 4×800 relay team, Zane Hummel (long jump, triple jump) and Caleb Vinnedge (shot put).

On the girls side, the Lady Raiders got wins from Sara Proctor (100-meter dash, long jump), Aletha Helms (triple, 400), Alyssa Cernuska (800), Natalie Jolley (3200),girls 4×400 relay, girls 4×800 relay, Anna Tyson (high jump), Victoria Shellenberger (javelin) and Madison Miller (shot put).
