Late Thursday result: BEA girls fall to Clearfield in 2OT
The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team had a heartbreaking loss Thursday in a thrilling contest against Clearfield. The game would take two overtime before a winner would be crowned.
“I thought we played really well today and just didn’t get the bounce today,” said Bald Eagle Area coach Jared Moore. “It is tough, but the girls are resilient and they will rebound for the next game.”
Bald Eagle led in shots on goals by a 9-6 margin. Clearfield led in Corners:m 4-3.
BEA goalie Makayla Spicer finished with five saves.
Clearfield posted a goal at the 93:02 mark to take the victory.
