MC 10s offense explodes for 6-0 victory

LEWISTOWN – The future is looking bright for the MIfflin County boys soccer program as the MIfflin County  10U soccer team lit the lamp six times in their Saturday contest against Hawkrock from Susquenita.

The kids from MC opened the contest going right to work, posting two early shots.

The third one was a charm as Gavyn Yoder placed a screamer into the the net.

Minutes later, teammate Easton Smith cracked the scoring list, making it a 2-0 contest.

Smith would get open and score in breakaway fashion, upping it to a 4-0 score.

Mifflin County also played strong defense as well as Mason Dietz, Deitrich Swineford, Jonas Weaver, Kaleb Swineford, Jameson Fisher Keiton Swineford and Garrett Shawver.

Leading the charge upfront were Easton Smith, Gavyn Yoder and Smith.

Going into the second half, Yoder got the scoring started while Shawver hits the final goal.

Mifflin County posted 14 shots on goals and eight corners in the victory.
