MC 7th/8th graders top Hollidaysburg in gridiron action

Mifflin Counties 7th and 8th grade football team got back at it Wednesday night with another big win versus Hollidaysburg. The Huskies struck first with a 50-yard touchdown pass from Noah Wolfkiel to Brayen Aurand. The Duo would hook up again for the 2-point conversion (Aurand would finish with 2 touchdowns on the night). Jaxon Strohecker would have a big night with over 200 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the night. Strohecker ran hard the entire night helping the Huskies will their way down the field. The Huskies would find themselves in a tight game up two with four minutes left on the clock the Huskies converted a 3rd and 20 on a pass from Wolfkiel to Aurand setting up another touchdown run from Strohecker. Aurand would seal the game on his 2nd interception of the night. The Huskies move to 6-1 on the year with the 32-24 victory.
