MC Alert: Sealy announced as new MC boys basketball coach

The Mifflin County School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Robert Sealy as the Huskies’ head boys’ basketball coach for the 2020-2021 season. We are fortunate to have a coach who understands the Mifflin County community and student-athletes.
Coach Sealy has been an English teacher in the Mifflin County School District since 2006. He was the head boys’ basketball coach at Indian Valley High School for 2 years prior to the creation of Mifflin County High School. He also helped to coach football and softball at Indian Valley. In addition, he has coached football and basketball at Penns Valley High School. This past season, he was the JV coach for the Huskies’ boys’ basketball program.
Coach Sealy is a graduate of Penns Valley High School and Lock Haven University. He earned his teaching certificate from Susquehanna in 2008 and his master’s degree in Sports Science from Lock Haven in 2017.
Coach Sealy states “I really am excited to help lead this program. It will be a total team effort from every player, coach, and parent/guardian. Looking forward to seeing everyone in our program reach their full potential.”
He and his wife Julie have 2 daughters, Olivia and Victoria, both of whom are teachers. They also have one grandson. They reside just outside of Bellefonte
