Aidan Scavitti 53rd (19:58) and Styers Oden 56th (20:05) closed out the Husky seven.

“This was a good race for us. The boys went out from the start and established a good team position. About halfway through the course there is a pretty challenging uphill.  The boys navigated it then improved their finish rank.

Reese looked tough. Caden ran his best race so far this season.  Wyatt was solid. Hart had a nice performance and Cody locked up 3rd for us. Aidan had a nice varsity debut. Styers struggled but still had a top 50 finish in team scoring.

Several had been dealing with with colds and I was a little concerned with how they might do today. The starters gun answered that as they immediately got into the mix. They raced hard and we had the top four bring home medals. We had a good day.”

The Husky JV squad placed 4th being lead by medal winning Camryn Treaster 9th (20:52 and Logan Breneman 13th (21:08).  Also racing for Miff Co was Justin Cox 39th (24:37), David Snyder 45th (24:51) and Nathan Goss 59th (26:41)

“The JV’s are dropping time and gaining experience in each race they run. They have a bright future”.
