MC Girls Junior High Soccer remains undefeated; tops Lower Dauphin

Still Undefeated and untested.

The MCJH Girls soccer picked up its second win in as many days as they defeated Lower Dauphin 5-2 Tuesday.

The Buskies made the most of its shots hitting 5-of-9. Lower Dauphin had eight shots. Mifflin County goalie Bailey McNitt saved six.

Mifflin County scored first as Aubrey  Strohecker scored off a pass fromSarah Henry only 1:00 in.

Minutes later back battled the Lady Huskies as Arika Henry scored on a dish off by Strohecker at 3:44.

Aubrey  Strohecker scores thanks to Brynn knepp, upping the lead to 3-0 at 13:15.

Lower Dauphin cut the into the lead as Brynn Schaffer caught a pass from Katelyn Economopoulos and scored at 17:11.

They later cut things to within one as Lexi Sarago hit a shot and was assisted by Economopoulos at 33:51.

But Strohecker scored on an Unassisted goal at 37:35 and then at 51:22 to secure the victory.

In JV action, Lower Dauphin topped Mifflin County 2-1

Mifflin County has five shots and five saves by goalie Paige Shugarts.

MC’s lone goal came from Amelia Leister from Rylee Retherford at 45:30.
