MC girls LAX light up the night on Senior Night

The MC Girls’ Lacrosse team moves to 7-1 on Senior Night against the Midd-West Mustangs! Staying in true MiffCo fashion, the scoring attack was spread among seven players. The Huskies three Seniors were all on the board with hat tricks from Kashia Smith and Morgan Kaniecki. Emma Ritchey put in one. “It was a slow and frustrating start to the first half, but the girls pulled it together for a strong finish,” said MIfflin County coach Theresa Lamont.
Also scoring for the Huskies were freshman Mara Gallo with three Monica Druckemiller and Sadie Fike with two and Brenna Dobson with one. First year goalie Mikayla Bodley stole the show with 10 saves for a superb save percentage of 77% drawing accolades from the visiting coach!

JVs found victory as well with a 4-2 finish. Great hustle in the mid-field lead by Hassinger and Shugarts kept the ball alive in our scoring end. Two goals each for Dobby and Gallo. JVs improve to 4-0-1!
