MC girls LAX wins nail biter over Lewisburg

Continuing to set the standards!

The Mifflin County Girls Lacrosse continues its impressive 2023 as it moves to 7-1 after a nailbiter of a win over a steadfast offensive front from the Dragons of Lewisburg. The Lady Huskies won in a nailbiter 10-9 by capitalizing on overlapping yellow cards on the Dragons. The Huskies pulled away with three consecutive goals.  Sadie Fike found the back of the net four times, and had eight draw controls and two assists.  Mara Gallo had the hat trick.  Ella Kammerer had two assists and one goal.   Monica Druckemiller and breakaway specialist Hailee Sheetz each scored one. Goalie Mikayla Bodley had a super night with 10 saves!

In JV action, MIfflin County lost 4-1 with the lone goal coming from newcomer Gracelynn Beckenbaugh. 

The Huskies celebrate nine seniors Tuesday at home.  Opening draw is 4:30 at Highland Field.
