MC JH girls soccer falls in close battle versus West Perry

The Mifflin County Girls Junior High soccer team held its own Monday night in their game against West Perry.

However, they came up a goal short, falling 4-3.

The Mustangs held a slim advantage on shots on goals by a 8-6 margin.

MIfflin County keeper Ciara Williams finished with four saves.

 In the first half, MIfflin County picked up its first goal at 6:33 when Leah Alexander posted an unassisted goal.

At 30:52 the Huskies were at again as Alexander scored via an assist by Mackenzie Peachey off a corner kick.

In the second half, Danielle Warfel notched an unassisted goal at 36:15 to end the MIfflin County scoring.
