MC Junior High girls basketball teams both successful over Mt. Nittany

The Mifflin County junior high girls basketball teams both picked up victories over Mount Nittany on Thursday.

In the varsity game, the Huskies earned a hard-fought 31-29 win with Lily Curry leading the way in scoring with 11 points. Layla Fetzer added 10 points and Maddie Peachey scored 9.

In the JV game, Mifflin County defeated Mount Nittany 28-16. Olivia Bedlyon was the high scorer with 15 points, while Gracie Kerstetter added 6 points.

Both teams are now 3-2 on the season and will return to the court on January 4th at Central Dauphin East.
