MC XC girls finish with numerous PRs

The MIfflin County girls cross country team were a bit short on runners tonight but had a very impressive performance Tuesday against State College and Central Dauphin.
Leading the way for the Huskies was Justice Sheaffer with a time of 24:12.
Teammate Sarah Diehl rounded out the top 25 runners for MIfflin County with a 21st time of 26:47.
Rounding out the Huskies runners were Ava Wagner (28:41), Maddi Steber (30:15) and Maggie Rodenbaugh (33:04).
“I am super proud of how much each one of them worked hard. Four of the girls set season bests tonight; several of them knocking off significant time! It shows the results of their continued hard work in training, said MIfflin County coach Neil Breneman. “ We also had significant wins mentally as they knocked down some of the limitations their minds put on running. Though the scoreboard doesn’t show wins for the team we are celebrating significant personal wins! This Saturday we are looking forward to running the state course at the Foundations Invitational in Hershey.”
