Mifflin County boys falls to tough Selinsgrove team

The Huskies dropped their first game of the 2023-24 season tonight, falling to Selinsgrove at home, 56-51.

The Huskies trailed by 14 at halftime, and were able to claw their way back, but were unable to walk away with the win.

The boys were led by Senior forward Jayden Bilger, who was dominant with 22 points on the evening. Freshman Jack Curry added 8 points, with Junio Aidan Attivo also scoring 7. Selinsgrove guard Ries Naugle had 23 points in the game.

The JV Huskies moved to 2-0 on the year, defeating the Seals 38-34. Sophomore Josh Hartzler led the way with 11 points, with Freshman Carson Franklin scoring 10 as well.

The Boys will be back in action on Wednesday, December 13 when they hit the road to open conference play against Red Land.
