Mifflin County girls fall to Chambersburg
LEWISTOWN – Despite a courageous fight, the Mifflin County girls track and field team fell Tuesday night to a very tough Chambersburg team. With the loss, the Lady Huskies drop to 1-5 in the always tough Mid-Penn League.
Laurel Maclay was the big winner for Mifflin County as she picked up wins in the long jump and the triple jump with leaps of 15′ 10″ and 32′ 5″.
A great performance by Chelsea Scott in the 100-meter run gave her a personal best time of 16.8.
Teammate Allison Prendergast also had a strong outing reaching her season best time of 1:03.9 in the 400-meter run.
Skylar Ciccolini was her typical tough number one finisher in the javelin with a toss of 130′ 11″.
Rounding out the winners was the girls 4×4 relay team who finished with a top time of 4:31.6.
