Mifflin County girls win again, tops Red Land

It was a great way to start the week for the Mifflin County girls basketball team as they defeated Red Land 56-50.

Leading the way for the Lady Huskies was Mackenzie Peachey who finished with 19 points in the win. Also finishing in double digits for Mifflin County were Amelia Leister with 12 and Jaylee Bodtorf tallied 11.

Mifflin County exploded for a 22 point first quarter while holding Red Land had 11. The Lady Huskies outscored Red Land in three of the four quarters of the contest.

In the JV contest,the Huskies topped Red Land 34-20.

Mifflin County’s Jayda Kanagy finished with 14.
