Mifflin County golfers compete at D6 Class AAA sectionals

The Mifflin County golf team competed today at Sinking Valley Golf Course in Altoona at the District 6 AAA sectional tournament. Sectionals are how the team and individual players can advance to the District 6 Championships. Unfortunately for the Huskies, no individuals or the team will be advancing.

Colby Seiler was MIfflin Cointy’s top finisher in 22nd place. Jackson Flood finished in 25th place, Jacob Bauman was 26th, and Evan Breon was in 28th place overall. In order to advance, as individuals, they needed to finish in the top 10. As a team, MC was in 5th place overall, and needed to be in the top 2 in order to advance.

MC is back in action tomorrow when it finishes up the regular season at the Carlisle War Barracks golf course for our final regular season mid penn match.

Jackson Flood has individually qualified for the Mid Penn Qualifier Round on Monday 9/25, and Colby Seiler has individually qualified for the Mid Penn Championships on Thursday 9/
