Mifflin County matmen pick up tough road win at Cedar Cliff
The Mifflin County Huskies wrestling team got its 2024 portion of its season off and running as they traveled to Cedar Cliff.
Despite being on the road, the Huskies muscled out a hard fought 37-30 victory.
Starting the wins for MIfflin County was 121-pounder Jake Knable. Knable pinned Keegan Zeigler at 4:36.
Next up for Mifflin County was at
133 when Kamden Everly defeated over Stellan Bachman TB-1 10-8.
152-pounder Parker Kearns continued his sizzling play with a pin over Evan Zeigler at 1:07.
160: Deakon Schaeffer took care of things at 160 as he pinned Erik Schriver at 2:56.
At 172, Reese Christine won by major decision over Princeton Dent posting an 8-0 score.
189-pounder Avery Aurand pinned Cayden Mabius at 4:23.
Rounding out the wins for Mifflin County at 114, Paxton Shawver pinned Cael Skorka at 1:42, clinching the win.
