Powerful Pitching Performance From Sierra Albright Carries Bald Eagle softball Past Muncy

Sierra Albright was dominant in the circle, as the Eagles rang up 11 strikeouts in Bald Eagle 2-0 victory over Muncy on Monday. Albright surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings while walking two.
The pitching was strong on both sides. The Lady Eagles pitcher struck out 11, while the Lady Indians sat down 10.
Bald Eagle got on the board in the second inning after Taylor Habovick singled, scoring one run.
The Lady Eagles added one run in the third. Muncy committed an error, making the score 2-0.
Nolah Moyer took the loss for the Indians. They went six innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits, striking out 10 and walking three.
Leadoff hitter Kailey Eckert led the Bald Eagles with two hits in two at bats. Habovick went 1-for-2 at the plate as the center fielder led the team with one run batted in. Eckert and Ava Stere each stole multiple bases for the Eagles. Bald Eagle ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game. The Eagles didn’t commit a single error in the field. Eckert had the most chances in the field with 12.
Kaylyn Rice led Muncy with one hit in three at bats.
